Suspension problem
1989 Toyota Camry 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 110000 miles
hi
If an axle of the car comes out or broke during driving at high way at high speed, what will happen to car ,
!- is the car is still under control?
2- What about the brake system
My second question is that
my car brake pedal works at low, inspite of that i changed the front and rear pads but still when i apply it, it works in the end 9lower than !/2.

Hi there,
If an axle fails, normally you would still have total control and brakes, the car would just loose drive, but with that said, if the CV shattered you may damage a brake line and there would be some possibility of the steering being affected , but this is wholly dependent on where the shaft failed, as for the brakes, if drum rears check adjustment and shoe condition.
