Both of my brake lights are not working. Before it was only one light that was not working, not both of them. The fuses are good. I was able to remove the two mounting screws but I can not pull out the whole light assembly in order for me to replace the bulbs.

Open the tailgate. There are two bolts on the right side, of your left tail light. Should be a 10mm socket or a philips screwdriver can also be used to remove them. The light is clipped in still to the body. You have to push the light to the left while keeping the light square to the body and it will pop out. Its important to push the light to the left not pull. Of course reverse for the passenger / right side.
