1999 Toyota 4Runner SEALED BEARINGS
Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Toyota 4Runner 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 175000 miles
A Toyota Dealer's mechanic told me that " both left and right axle seals are leaking(bearing)" and told me that it will cost $ 1,000 to fix it. I do not understand the repair work.
Can you please explain it to me in layman's term what the problem is? Is this some thing that I must fix ASAP? Is the repair estimate given to me is reasonable?
