I have a 94 4runner new engine have had the fuel system checked out the pressure is good fuel pump has been checked and is good the air flow sensor has been replaced. But I'm still having the same problem and that is when I'm driving the RPM drop up and down truck hestitates back fires and then drives fine this usualy happens in stop and go trafic. I've had a total tune up plugs pionts distributor and new spark plug wires. The engine light does not come on. I have spent a lot of money trying to figure this out and have taken it to the toyota dealer and they can't figure this out either please help.One more thing when this happens I also get a whiff of gas.
