does not overheat but gets very close,only gets hot at stop but cools when im driving.flushed the system added new anti,a new thermastat.checked the fan direct to battery and works fine.but i cant tell if it always goes on.im only working one two days a week and need this car to eat.any help in the right direction could save a working stiffs but

WHEN YOU DRIVE IT AND IT DOES GET HOT............... IMMEDIATELY POP THE HOOD AND SEE IF THE FAN(S) ARE RUNNING

THERE MAY BE SEVERAL THINGS THAT CONTROL WHEN THEY SHOULD COME ON

LET ME KNOW IF THEY ARE "NOT" RUNNING

I'LL SEE IF I CAN FIND YOU A DIAGRAM OF WHAT CONTROLS IT----WHERE THE STUFF IS LOCATED IN YOUR RIG..................THIS MAY BE A RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE FIX (WE HOPE!)

GOOD WORK!.........YOU HAVE ALREADY RULED OUT A BAD FAN MOTOR!
