Intermittant - sometimes when I turn key - nothing, no sound, no crank, no starter turn, nothing. Have to try several times before it 'engages' and turns starter.

At times when it does turn right over, it will turn over but won't start (like it's out of gas).

I've noticed battery will go from 14.4 to 13.3 to 12.2 over a few days (when I first turn on). Usually after driving for several minutes its back up to 14.1-14.4

Start by checking the wiring..
See the guide below about bad connections at the battery

Electrical problem 6 cyl All Wheel Drive 24000 miles

When I turn the key - nothing, no cranking, no starter noise, nothing. Have to try several times before it will engage.

Othertimes it turns over and over and over and takes several trays before it will start (like it's out of gas)

It sounds like you have two problems her first is the starter motor sounds like it is going out. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-a-starter-motor

The next sounds like your throttle actuator needs to be serviced because when it is dirty the engine tends to stall and hard start.

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
