1994 Suzuki Van Repair Question

1994 Suzuki Van starting problems
1994 Suzuki Van 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 10800 miles
My van will start from cold on full choke but will cut out after a few seconds
After switching off the engine will fire on 1 or 2 cylinders but will not pick up.
Each attempt to start the ignition has to be switched off .
When it finally starts it is fine as if starting from cold and will be fine untill the following morning
Any ideas ????????
