Chev Sprint high idles on brake application or electrical
1986 Chev sprint 1.0 L / 5 spd.235000km. I just replaced the carb ( new professional rebuilt ) on car and adjusted it. It runs fine, but upon a brake application or turning on headlights or fan, engine jumps up about 500-600 rpm. Have checked alternator output and wiring harness grounds but haven't any more ideas's. Do you have any

By chance is there an "idle up" solenoid on the carb?
