A week ago my car lost a lot of power. Its a suzuki swift. My dad changed the spark plugs, wires, and the timing belt. And it still isn't getting enough power. It just has enough to idle. Neither my dad or the mechanic we took it to knows what else it could be.

Sounds like an engine rebuild is in order-possible they might be a disturbance in volumetric efficiency involving excessive backpressure in the exhaust system or the valves opening and closing at the wrong time or not in the sequence of firing position

I have a 1995 GEO Tracker and I also had a power loss. The mechanic had it for three days, changed the fuel pump(which I didn't need) and it turned out to be the coil. Good luck. Mort
