Idle cycles between higher and lower eve
Engine Performance problem
1993 Suzuki Escudo 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 65,000 miles
1993 Suzuki Escudo 4x4 Automatic (looks like domestic Suzuki Sidekick) The idle fluctuates much higher and lower, cycling in 3 second intervals while in park. This happens continuously whether the engine is cold or warmed up. It is steady in drive or reverse, albeit higher than normal. Vehicle wants to take off and requires a lot of brake pressure to keep vehicle from rolling. Vacuum lines look fine, did find some small holes in air filter.
