Overfilled transmission causing the car

1998 Suzuki Baleno 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 84000 miles
Hello,
After Overfilling my transmission the car runs fine but engine stalls when put in N or P, it cant hold idle.
I have drained the excess ATF but problem persists.
What have I done?
