Engine Performance problem
1986 Subaru XT 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 147000 miles
Random but frequent missing. Engine may run perfectly for many miles then begin to act as though on three cylinders, back to perfect, then to like just two cylinders, then back to perfect. Not running time related, not temperature related, not load related, not speed related. Engine starts up perfectly every time - usually firing on all four, then after some period of driving starts the random missing thing.
New plugs and wires, timing checked, new O2 sensor.
Driving me NUTS!
