2004 Subaru WRX front end rattle
Suspension problem
2004 Subaru WRX 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Manual 84k miles
I started getting a faint rattle coming from the front end when I drove over stutter bumps at about 10k mi. The dealer couldnt figure it out after several lame attempts so I sort of gave up because it wasnt terrible and I was tired of the dealer having my car. Well now at about 84k mi. the rattle is not so faint and it makes the noise over any sharp small bump at any speed and any steering wheel direction. I have tried to lift the car and shake and kick and bump the wheels to no avail. There is nothing visualy loose or anything except the sway bar hanger bushings look a little old. Do you have any ideas on what to check. As I said the dealer was no help and they are now out of buisness.
