2002 Subaru Outback bumping/vibration from stop

2002 Subaru Outback 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles
Hi.
I hear/feel a bumping/vibration coming from below and in between the driver and passenger side. It only happens when after I come to a complete stop, and, while still in drive, i accelerate to get going again. It lasts only a few seconds, and disappears after I speed up a little more. The car drives fine, and the transmission shifts relatively smooth. Any ideas what this could be?
