timing belt

96 subaru leagacy wagon with 165,000 miles 2.5L i relaced the timing belt and put the new one in exactly how the book says but the car wont start it sounds like the timing is way off but im not sure. :wink:

96 plymouth voyager /3.o /105567ml.
My engine cranks as if it wants to start but dose'nt.
I get spark ,fuel but compression spikes to 150psi
and dose not hold
please help me with advice on why engine will not start?

CHECK THE GAUGE U R USING THE VALVE ON IT MAYBE LOOSE OR NO GOOD
DID U CHECK FOR INJECTOR PULSE
HAVE U CHECKED THE CODE S
IF NO SCANNER ... CYCLE KEY 3 TIMES READ THE PXXXX CODES
TRY HOLDING THE GAS PEDAL TO THE FLOOR AND START MAKE SURE BATTERY FULLY CHARGERD
AND LET ME KNOW
