thermostat replacment

i bought a 1999 subaru legacy 1 month ago now it over heats fluid comes out the over flow bottle i think its a thermostat problem and it looks hard to change can u tell me how to change a thermostat in a 2.4 motor

very easy job!, find where hte uper radiator hose goes into the engine, drain the coolant system and take off that hose, the thermostat sits right there!
