Hello, just wondering if you can help with the problem I'm having with the ABS on my 95 Legacy, the ABS cuts in a lot of the time when it shouldn't, even traveling at 10-15 mph on a dry road the ABS cuts in on gentle braking, taking the ABS fuse out stops the problem of course, I, m guessing it may be one of the sensors, is it possible to tell which sensor is activating so I can narrow down the problem?

Thanks in advance Mark

Thats not a real do it yourself kind of a task. The proper way to test an ABS sensor is to check the frequency output. And to look at its signal on a labscope. Also the problem may be in the module or the harness as well. So you have a service manual and figure outhow to put the ABS module into check mode. Then read the code and follow the flow chart, test the appropiate sensor, wiring etc.
Bu ta good shop should be able to diagnose this for you for a reasonable amount of money saving you time and potentially money not to mention re enabling the ABS is important from a safety standpoint as well.
