I have a 93 Subaru Impreza with 261,000 miles. In the past few months there's always a clicking noise when the engine is running. It's gradually getting louder. The clicking speeds up as the car accelerates. When I'm idling there's just a slow rhythmical clicking. It's not causing any problems, but I just want to verify if it's actually the fuel injectors or an engine problem. The car runs the same as it always has. The funny thing is I've run some fuel injector cleaner through the tank a few times over a 2 and 1/2 year period and the clicking got much louder after this last time. I thought this was suppossed to just clean the injectors not make them louder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
