1994 Subaru Loyale No current to starter
Electrical problem
1994 Subaru Loyale 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 209k miles
HI,
I had just replaced the timing belts on a Loyale, and it sounded great and started right away. I was getting ready to adjust the ignition timing, and had connected the test leads and was in the car when it died, and when I try to start it, the starter doesn't turn, the battery has 12 volts, . I noticed the hill holder cable was disconnected, but I'm not sure that matters. When I turn the key, it makes no sound at first, but the tach runs up, and then there's a clicking, but the battery has 12 volts and is pretty new.
Any thoughts?
