Shakes or Wobbles problem
1990 Subaru Legacy 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 202k miles

Every time I accelerate there is a violent shaking; And at random times, my car will be accelerating and will slow down, and within about 30 seconds will lose power and die, and when I go to turn it back on, it starts and runs fine. There is also a slight stall in acceleration when I press down on the gas pedal. Other than that my car starts and runs fine! What can possibly be wrong???

Hi ambercox2009, thank you for the donation. I would first ask, is there a check engine light on? Also I would first start by checking/changing spark plugs and wires, it sounds like one of the wires may be arcing against the block, wires should be checked for frailty I would also do a minor tune up, gas filter, air filter, clean the throttlebody, change pcv valve too. Let me know how it goes.
