2005 Subaru Forester Camshaft Position Sensor Location
Electrical problem
2005 Subaru Forester 4 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 109000 miles
I am attempting to replace the camshaft position sensor (NOT the crank position sensor) on our Subaru Forester XT with the 2.5 Liter turbo engine. This is in response to a trouble code we read about a faulty sensor. The problem is I cannot locate this sensor anywhere on the cylinder heads. Any idea where to find the camshaft position sensor on our car?
There are many incorrect answers on the internet and I would like to get a simple straight answer. Some say it's under the A/C unit, others say there are two, located on the back of the cylinder heads, but I'm not finding it in those locations.
Thank you very much! :^)
