Stuttering/slipping when coasting to acceleration

Ok let's see if I can describe this accurately. First off, just had an EGR, vacuum line(not sure exactly which one), and a MAP sensor replaced (all oem). The bad egr was causing car to idle rough, stutter and want to almost cut off. Mechanic that did the work is a family friend and was supposed to check the car out completely. Now that those have been repaired car is running 100% better with this exception. After a day noticed a slight hesitation, stuttering, slipping(not exactly sure how to describe it) when going from a coast to accelerating. Ie driving along at 60mph let off of gas for traffic etc then resume speed. There is no specific speed this happens at really doesn't matter how fast just the point of being off of the gas pedal to on the gas pedal. At the moment no CEL's and when driven with an engine analyzer no problems shown. Any ideas of what this could be without me having to go through a huge trouble shooting list to find out what the problems is? Already dropped $800 on the above listed repairs so is there any thing I could do on my own without spending a ton of money to figure out what it is?

Sorry spark plugs were changed over the summer. Everything seemed to be fine other than the plugs did need to be changed. As far as I have been able to tell it is pretty consistent, doesn't matter what the conditions are ie. Air condition, how long you've been driving, outside temp
My initial thought is transmission, but I've had a car with transmission problems before and this doesn't seem the same. It feels like it goes through all the gears fine.

"everything seemed to be fine other than the plugs did need to be changed." As in I didn't notice anything wrong with them when I changed the spark plugs.
