This vehicle has a manual transmission.

when attemping to start you get a loud click coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment.
it clicks constantly as long as your attemping to crank the engine. The battery was replaced and the starter was replaced and it still does it. The car never cranks just a constant click.

please help if u can. I have the ability to use a DVOM and test components so what ever u can tell me will be a big help

It may be a cracked ring gear on the flywheel especially if the teeth on your last starter were worn badly

I should of been more specific. It the starter seloniod clicking. First I thought bad ground so hooked a ground to the body of the starter and when you crank it just clicks once. So could the starter be bad as well as the engine block ground.

Check your battery condition first including a load test. And clean terminal ends. It may not have enough juice in it to crank. Could be bad cables too so check to see if voltage is same at starter and battery. You shold have a minimum 12.4 volts with a volt meter.
