Is the battery good? Have you checked battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight? Have you checked the main ground from the battery to the engine block? Are any of the wires getting hot when you try to start it?

We cleaned the terminals ive had several guesses just no help in fixing it the wires do seem to get hot. Someone suspected the ground from the starter to the battery. But how would I check these issues?

The starter is grounded through the engine block. There is no seperate wire for that. If the wires are getting hot, there could be too much resistance in them. Check for damage or broken ground or power wires from the battery.
