Hi,

I don't know if these has something to do with the electricals but usually this will happen when I use the car for an hour or long. It will choke and it almost stops the engine from running but it will come up again. I already have it checked with mazda and they told me that 1 of the piston has no compression. Is it possible that it is the cause? When my car is running on 3rd and 4th gear I don't experience any problem only on low speeds. Most of the time I feel like it's not moving or accelerating properly and thus I need to step on the gas more so it will move but rpm will go high. Most of the mechanics are telling me that it has nothing to do with the engine, they told me maybe the problem Is the gear. I don't feel any problem when im driving on high speed and everything I fine.

Thank you so much and hope to hear from you soon.

How can you be running well with one cylinders having no compression?

Without any proper diagnostics, it is not possible to determine if it is engine or transmission related.

Is the Malfunction Indicator Light showing and have you checked for trouble codes?

An average compression is 1.70 as per mazda and they told me that 3 pistons are above the average and only one has low compression which is.75 as per them but I told them as you told me that how come the car is running ok? Awhile ago I went to the mechanic and the OBD read as follows: B1320 Drivers door Ajar Circuit Failure, U1900 CAN Communication Fault-Receive Error, B2212 Panel Dim Switch Out of Range, this 3 codes are the errors and they reset the everything and told me that no issues regarding this one. Still I can feel and experience the low acceleration on low speed.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So you mean that my engine is fine? So if one of the cylinders has no compression then my car won't run at all?

Thanks again.

If one of the cylinder has very low compression, the engine would be misfiring and has lack of power. The idling would be very unstable.

The error codes mentioned are not directly related to engine performance.
