SMOKE FROM EXHAUST AND MOISTURE BLOWING OUT.

1999 Ford Ranger • 3.0L V6 4WD Automatic • 190,000 miles

Engine idles hard. Lots of smoke blowing out exhaust. Within 3-4 miles temp gauge was higher than normal. I felt radiator cap and it was cold. After a safe period of time I looked and saw radiator was dry.

If the smoke is thick and bright white then that's where your coolant is going. That's a blown head gasket
