While car was going down road I attempted to hook up an aux cigarette plug to charge my cell phone. After I had negative grounded I ran a positive wire from interior fuse panel slot #19 which was empty at the time. The positive wire slipped and touched something metal before I had it properly connected causing something to short and the car immediately died. When we tried restarting it it chugged and ran terribly before dying. Please help? I checked the fuses and the chime moduele which seemed to be in working order. Thanks

It was cranking over and in fact starting also. But after it was started it chugged and coughed and sputtered ran like crap and then died.I have indeed checked all fuses even the ones under the hood.I also tooka look at the chime moduele which appeared to have no damage to it.

So is anything electrical that doesn't work?I Need as much detail as possible since I don't have the car to look at. Any codes in the computer? Do you have spark fuel pressure injector pulse etc.
