2003 SEAT Ibiza Radiator Leakage and AC Problems
Engine Cooling problem
2003 SEAT Ibiza 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 52000 miles
Goodday Last night I went out for supper and about 10 min into my meal the valet service called me saying that the car was leaking water. Upon inspection I saw it was coolant from the cooling system, almost emtying the reservoir. I immediately filled the reservoir with the coolant fluid i keep in the car. When I drove home the temp climbed to about 110 and then dropped again to 90. This morning I checked and the reservoir was at the level i left it.
2nd the cars AC works wonderfully at cruising speeds around 100km but when I have to stop at a signal it warms up. What could be the problem?
Thanks
Jacques

have the a/c system checked for leaks and re-gassed ... you need to discover where the coolant leak was from !!have the system pressure tested !!
