1999 SEAT Cordoba Loss of power
Engine Performance problem
1999 SEAT Cordoba 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 54745 miles
Problem not constant, but worrying when it occurs. It happens without warning and feels as if the brake has suddenly been applied then released. The engine does not actually cut out but feels it is about to. (Red lights flicker on the dash then disappear.)
It is most disconcerting with immediate fear of the car behind running into you. Fortunately this hasn't happened yet. Can you suggest possible causes?
