2003 Scion xB No Power To The Ignition or Gauges

2003 Scion xB 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
I changed my car battery due to the fact it was dead and accidentally hooked the battery up the wrong way and tryed to jump the new battery. After realizing the battery was on the wrong way i immediatly placed the battery in the correct way and attempted to start the vehicle and nothing works. The only thing that works in the vehicle is the horn and the lights. I have switched out all the fuses. I have changed the terminals but still nothing seems to work what could be the problem and how do i fix the situation?
