2002 Saturn Vue service/ security light/check engine light

My car has recently started displaying the security light, when this light comes on my odometer resets itself and then a service light appears with a wrench then I lose all interior lights and my speedometer and fuel no longer register and finally my steering wheel becomes difficult to turn. What can cause these problems.
