1995 Saturn SW2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 171000 miles

HEllo... Last year around June my dad and I put a new car battery in my '95 Saturn. The car has run great since then, however, about a month ago the car has been having issues. Every time I want to drive the car, the battery has to be jump started. If I let the car sit for more than one day it has to be charged again. This is becoming a very big annoyance. I don't think the battery is the problem, having that the car ran for over a year. What could the problem b and how could I fix it. I have been doing some reading online (could it be the aternator??)
