1997 Saturn Station Wagon

I am trying to help a friend with her Saturn wagon. It's a 1997. When you turn the key off the car continues to run. All accessories stop working. We have found that either to pull the fuel fuse or disconnect the battery to get it to stop. By the following day the battery is dead. Any ideas why the car won't stop and why it is draining the battery?

Louie,
Thanks for your response. When the key is shut off all accessories go off. The engine continues to run. The ignition switch has been replaced. The battery drains after a few hours with the car off.
Unfortunately I do not have a meter nor test light handy. I cvan get one. What do you suggest?

You need to atleast get a test light and with the ignition in the lock position check and see if the pink wire and the orange have power you would be checking right at the ignition switch with the connector still plugged into the switch. Let me know what you find.
