i have to put a starter on a 93 SL 1. There is a rear support bracket for the starter that I'm not sure how to deal with. Does anybody know how to get the bracket off the motor or get the starter off the bracket. thanks

All you have to do is remove the bolt that hold's the bracket to the block. Then remove the two starter bolts that hold the starter in.You won't use the bracket on the new starter and you will have to get a longer fuse link wire because the new starter is shorter.
