1999 Saturn SC2 Removal of shifter cables

I am just trying to get the correct procedure for removing the shift cables from the transmission housing. Thanks

What is wrong with your cable's?You might be able to fix them they sell repair kit's a lot cheaper and easier then replacing the cable's. Did the outer cable end come off the inside shifter?
