Transmission problem
1995 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I am unable to get 2nd, 4th, and reverse gears. I would like a picture of linkage connection for these gears because I'm not sure how it's not connected now.
Thank you.

Check under the hood make sure both the top and bottom cables are still attached the H shaped clips come off sometimes it's right on the transmission also look and make sure the cable ends are attached to the shifter tower as well. If nothing looks wrong there look under the shifter boot inside the car make sure booth cables are attached to the shifter. Let me know what u find.

So ur talking at the transmission the bottom cable is the black ended cable if ur talking about the connection at the trans it self then it's attached by a H shaped clip a good sized one same clip that holds the top one on with. If ur talking about at the shifter tower arm it's a smaller H clip that has a tab that locks it in place just like the top cable u need to get another of which ever clip it is. Let me know if u have anymore questions. The clips are probably a dealer or pick apart item though.
