I have a 2000 LS2 Saturn v6 automatic w/ 138,000 miles on it. I have had all sensors replaced, alternator replace, transmission serviced. It has also had a full tune w/in the past year. My car will crank just fine but if I drive for any length of time it will just die right where it is sitting. I let it "rest" for about 20 mins. it will crank right back up. My mechanic can not seem to find the problem. No codes are showing up on the computer check. I desperately need this car to run. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds typical of crankshaft position sensor. Hopefully it is stull under warranty. If so just replace it. If not have it tested. Pricey little devil ($80.00 +) on the L series. The one on my S series was under $20.00.

I am not a big fan of (Autozone's) Wells electrical parts. If thats what you have I'd pay the difference and replace it it with a different brand.

good luck and let us know. :)
