I bought this car new in 2003 and for 140000 I have had no issues until it hit 142000. I have had 3 Ignition Control Modules and one Catalytic converter now replaced. The modules last for about two weeks and then I am down to 2 cylinders and have to have a new ignition control module replaced. What could cause these to burn out so quickly? The garage that I take it for repair, I thing they are perplexed about this issue. So now I am needing to tow the car back to have the 4th Ignition Control Module replaced.
