2001 Saturn L300 Fuel Pump Problem

2001 Saturn L300 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 105000 miles
I've been having problems with the car just shutting down while your driving down the raod, no warnings. I ran a pressure test on the fuel system and it checked out within margins, but when it quits the fuel pump shuts down also, no pressure, after I let it set for a while, 30 to 60 Mins. it fires right up and the pump pressure is right back on line. I ran a scan on this thing today and it tells me under code P1810 that I have a ATF pressure manual valve position switch malfunction. Can you tell where this is and if it would create the problems I have described? I have ransacked my manual and can't find out a thing about it.
