I have a similar problem. Last night while driving home I adjusted my dimmer switch and noticed my headlights turned off then came back on. I left my dimmer switch so that the dash lights were low and the head lights were working OK. When I got closer to home I tried again with the dimmer switch and the lights shut off. I could pull back on the lever to have the high beams to work.
I got home turned off the car no head lights, no interior lights, no bells when I opened the door when the keys left in ignition. I tried to move the car but I couldn't move the gear shift out of Park while depressing the brake. The radio, horn, windshield wipers and power windows all work but the power door locks don't. Any suggestions?

You could have a bad bcm aka body control module its typical to loose power locks interior lights fuel gauge may read empty when its not or go up and down car not start sercurity light come remotes inop all kinds of differnt stuff happen. Pretty common with that yr and model. Someone would have to check it out for sure but its a very likely cause from what you have mentioned for whats going wrong. Let me know how it goes.
