I just bought this Ion Level 2 and both the odometer and trip odometer are not working. They stay on the same mileage and the trip can not be reset. When the car is turned on the service vehicle message comes up, but it can be changed to show odometer mileage, but does not change although the speedometer works perfect.
Driving it home 300 miles another problem came up, first the wipers would come on for two or three passes then shut off. As miles went by then the emginr started missing, the lights started coming on the dash, and the brakes were applied for a spit second causing the wheels to slide, the wipers failed except when run in high speed. Soon the engine was missing and cutting off and when restarted had no power or died. I set along the road and kept starting and trying. Finally I got car moving and in several minutes everything returned to normal and never had any more trouble the last hundred miles and everything works fine now.
Is it the computer and what do I do? First to fix odometer and then to make sure all these systems don't go out again?
Thanks,
Bill

Don't call the Exorcist I think I know. Everything that is going wrong with car is controled by the Body Control Modual located center dash. It matbe under warranty can be checked out by dealer.
Thanks for donation
