I slid into a curb on an icy road and didn't hit too hard but now when you turn the wheel too far towards that side it pops on the fender well and seems like its set back further compared to the other wheel. Don't know if maybe it bent the axle or what.. just need a general idea of what could be wrong.

If the wheel is set back too far I would start by checking the lower control arm it's connected from the frame to the knuckle.they usually bend closer to the knuckle compare the good side to the bent side for a refrence point.let me know what u find.
