2003 Saturn Ion Stalled out when drove through puddle

2003 Saturn Ion 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 107871 miles
Was driving down freeway when I came to a under pass that was flooded. Could not see that it was flooded till I was already in it. Before I could steer to a more shallow part my car stalled out. I got it pushed out of the puddle to side of road. Now the car will not crank. Do I need to just give it some time to dry out then try? Or will there more then likely be more that I need to do? The puddle only came up to the botttom of the door. LookEd at eng comp and it is not very wet in there at all also There is no water in the oil.
