2003 SAAB 9-5 Repair Question

2003 Saab 9-5 Leak cant find
Engine Cooling problem
2003 Saab 9-5 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles
With the hood open looking at the firewall at the back of the engine I can see a drip. The location on the firewall where the drip is coming from is just right of center attached to the firewall . No fluid is getting into the driver compartment. Using a small mirror I tried to identify where the leak is coming from but cant find anything.
It kind of looks like its coming from a small canister about the size of a smokeless tobacco can?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Ted

2003 SAAB 95 when driving the temp gauge works than for no reason drops off like if the car were turned off?
If you shut down the car and restart it work fine?
Any ideas?

replace your coolant temp sensor ,by the way is ur check eng light on ,if so u may have a p0116 code related to faulty coolant thermostat ,which u will need to replace both thermostat & coolant temp sensor ,to correct cooling system fault issues .
