My Saab always starts the first time. Drives well, but if you stop and shut the car off, you need to wait 1 hour before you can restart it. I have replaced the starter 3 times in the past year, thanks to repair locations, but I still cannot start the car twice in less than 1 hour.

HELP.

DOes it turn over and not start or just not turn over at all? If it doesnt turn at all, you will need to start by checking for power at the starter solenoid (small wire) with a meter to measure actual voltage. If 12 or so is there and at the main cable when key is in crank position, the starter is no good. If it keeps going through starters, you may want to go to the dealer and have them look to see if maybe you are missing a heat shield someone left off at at some point during repairs. Also know that a cheap starter is exactly that. A cheap starter. It is best to go with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or equivelant
