I am attempting to restore a 1984 Chevy S-10 Durango with the 2.8l v6 in it. I completed all the body work and changed the oil, coolant, radiator, battery, plugs and wires, and belts, along with the air filter and breather filter, along with cleaning the whole engine and putting on a new exhaust. Today I tried to take a test drive and it started right up, but about 15-20 minutes into the drive it shut off while stopped. Then another 10 minutesin on my way back home it shut off while I was driving at about 35 miles per hour. I cant think of what it could be, there was a strong burning smell but it wasn't rubber and I don't think it was oil, but the oil pressure gauge did go to "0", I don't know if that matters. Thank you so much for any ideas you can give me in advanced. I did also hook up a new head unit and amp/sub, using the correct adapter an instructions for the radio and wiring the amp and sub the way it was done on youtube by my local shop, just without a capacitor, but they said that was optional. Thanks, Austin
