2000 Rover 75 overheating

I would like to know where the thermostat housing is located becouse the car as alot of back presure then the engine starts to boil but the radiator is stone cold but the fan is running any help pleaser

My software doesnt cover Rover brand, but I will try to help you here. Follow the upper and lower hoses until you find where they attach to the engine. The thermostat could be at either top or bottom hose. There will be a housing that bolts to the engine, usually round under it is the thermostat. From what you describe that is what is wrong with you car, thermostsat stuck
