2004 Rover 45 Overheat fan

Engine Cooling problem
2004 Rover 45 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 18000 miles

When starting the motor the overheat fan comes on even when the engine is cold.
Your advice would be welcome to rectify this promlem.

the fans are controlled by the PCM (computer) using signals from the coolant temp sensor .. check/replace the temp sensor !
