1999 Rover 4 Series Repair Question

1999 Rover 4 Series lack of power
Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Rover 4 Series 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 66700 miles
when car is at idle it is ok and will rev freely but as soon as you come to move off it seems to stuter as if the chock was out full until 3000 rpm then its fine i have changed the crank sensor and still does the same its not loosing any fluids . wondering if it could be a temp sensor or some other sensor going down

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to check for any fault codes stored !
