1978 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith Charging system
Electrical problem
1978 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 78620 miles
The alternator has been rebuilt and tested and is operating to specs on the test bench. It does not charge in the vehicle. Is there a diagnostic flow chart or diagram to test the transistorized voltage regulator in the trunk. It has a new battery and the wiring has been checked for continuity and resistance. Thank You

This is the first Rolls Royce car I have advised on mate. Have you tried substituting a known good voltage regulator for the original? I do not have access to diagrams for Rolls Royce cars, however it seems the regulator is suspect.
